Expanding the versatility of the VDS® Slimline range, Vetrotech Saint-Gobain introduces VDS® Slimline Doors, featuring India's slimmest fire-rated profiles for glazed doors and partitions.
Building on the VDS® Slimline concept, the launch extends the application of the system beyond fixed glazed partitions, providing architects and project teams with a fire-rated door solution that aligns with the same slimline design approach. This addition broadens the possibilities for creating integrated fire-rated glazed environments while maintaining consistent architectural language across spaces.
VDS® Slimline Doors have been developed for projects where openness, transparency, and refined detailing play an important role in the overall architectural experience. Whether used in workplaces, hospitality environments, healthcare facilities, educational institutions, infrastructure developments, or commercial buildings, the system supports contemporary design requirements while meeting essential fire safety objectives.
At the heart of the system is an ultra-slim profile measuring just 23 x 50 mm, creating a clean and consistent appearance when combined with adjoining glazed partitions. The doors incorporate CONTRAFLAM Lite fire-rated glass and provide fire resistance of up to 120 minutes, supporting effective fire compartmentation while maintaining visual connectivity between spaces.
