VETROGARD Blast

A versatile, laminated, high-security glass solution designed to withstand explosive forces

VETROGARD Blast is a multilayer laminated blast-resistant glass system composed of highly engineered interlayer films and glass panes. The total number of layers varies depending on the required blast-resistance classification.

These layers are fused under extreme pressure and heat, ensuring they remain secure yet flexible when subjected to a blast wave. This advanced blast-proof glazing solution is available with a wide range of design features, including colour options, printing, and fire resistance, making it both protective and adaptable to various architectural requirements.

Performances

VETROGARD Blast is engineered to resist explosions while ensuring that the glass remains within the framing system, preventing injuries caused by shattered debris. This blast-resistant glass meets classifications ranging from ER1 to ER4, providing protection against varying levels of explosive force.

To ensure the highest level of security, our solutions are rigorously tested as complete systems, encompassing VETROGARD Blast, framing structures, and surrounding building elements. By testing entire configurations rather than just individual components, we ensure that our blast-proof glazing solutions meet the stringent requirements of security consultants and industry standards.
