Fire rated curtains solution from Vetrotech prevent the spread of fire from floor to floor, to adjacent buildings, or to areas of refuge. The required fire resistance classification for such applications varies according to local and national building regulations. Vetrotech’s range of fire-resistant glazing options for facade glass cover all fire-resistance classes – Class E, EW, and EI – with ratings from 15 to 120 minutes. Vetrotech’s fire-resistant glazing solutions are all tested and certified according to EN and UL standards and go beyond conventional glazing functionality to provide building occupants with uncompromised safety and peace of mind. They can used to complement a building fire safety strategy. They are compatible with a large range of curtain wall glass solutions, such as stick or unitised glazed curtain wall system or Structural Sealant Glazing (SSG) façade.
