Vetrotech Saint-Gobain announces Nicole Wilming as new CEO

Vetrotech Saint-Gobain announces a leadership transition that marks a new chapter in the company’s ongoing commitment to make the world a safer place. Nicole Wilming has succeeded Reto Cometta as Chief Executive Officer, effective January 1, 2026, continuing Vetrotech’s strategic journey built on customer focus and the ambition to advance fire-resistant and high-security glazing solutions.  

Under Reto’s leadership, Vetrotech further strengthened its position as a trusted partner in driving safety worldwide. Following his decision to pre-retire, the transition to Nicole builds on this strong foundation.  

Nicole brings over 25 years of experience within the Saint-Gobain Group, spanning roles in Germany and France. Known for her international perspective, people-centered leadership style, she is passionate about innovative, highly technical solutions and about building engaged, high-performing teams. She is committed to fostering long-term customer relationships and being the reliable, “easy-to-work-with” partner. Her deep knowledge of Saint-Gobain, building glass, and passive fire protection solutions will further reinforce Vetrotech’s expertise.  

In recent months, Nicole has connected with Vetrotech teams across regions and shared her impressions: “I have seen exceptional expertise, profound technical knowledge, and a strong passion that define Vetrotech’s people-qualities which I consider core to the company’s success and future growth,” she said.
