Education
Cranleigh Abu Dhabi opened its doors in September 2014 with similar aims of supporting the establishing Saadiyat Island community. The institution combines the best of British education with a strong flavour of Abu Dhabi, Emirati culture and the cosmopolitan nature of the city. Today the school is thriving with more than 1300 pupils, a top rating from the Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK), and the title of Tes Independent School Award’s 2019 International School of the Year.

The students of Cranleigh School are on the safe side because the glass doors and partitions in the entrance lobbies, admin offices, classrooms and locker rooms are fitted with fire-resistant glass from Vetrotech Saint-Gobain. These solutions are tested for one hour fire resistive as per the UL standards followed by the impact of a strong continuous jet of water as a part of the hose stream test requirement. The stringent test procedure also require the production facility to be listed under the UL certification scheme. As a result, the glass production is subjected to periodic audits by the certification body.

One cannot compromise when it comes to protecting lives and property, one cannot be anything less than rigorous. Full compliance is a must. That’s why we are committed to making living places more secure. Committed to ensuring occupants the peace of mind they deserve without sacrificing comfort because no one should have to make the choice between life safety and wellbeing.
