Together against littering
On 13 and 14 September the national Clean-UP-Day took place in Switzerland. Vetrotech Saint-Gobain is a participating partner of this initiative, which makes an active contribution to the quality of life in the community and towards a clean environment.
At the Vetrotech headquarters in Flamatt, 10 employees took part in this year’s activity. As a result, approximately 10 kg of waste lying around in the close-by forest was collected and professionally disposed. Through this engagement, Vetrotech continues its commitment to protect the environment and thereby taking another step forward in the sustainability strategy of The Saint-Gobain Group.
About Clean-Up-Day
The Clean-Up-Day has been organised by the IGSU since 2013 and mobilises ten thousands of participants every year. The action day is supported by the Federal Office for the Environment (FOEN), the Swiss Association for Municipal Infrastructure and the Push Foundation. The IGSU is the Swiss competence center against littering. Since 2007, it has been working nationally for a clean Switzerland with preventive awareness-raising measures.
