At Vetrotech Saint-Gobain, we strive to offer only the best customer experience. To do so, we believe our sales force needs to not only be able to process a customer inquiry but understand our products, sector and company in its entirety.

The Vetrotech Sales School offers people an insight into the different aspects of sales, with the objective to ultimately fill a position in one of our teams. The Vetrotech Saint-Gobain Sales School starts at the beginning of September and February, and is divided into three parts (six months each). Normally, you will have the opportunity to discover 2-3 different countries during this training programme.

PROGRAMME BREAKDOWN

Month 1-6

Internal sales training and an induction programme that includes an in-depth insight into one of our production sites:

  • Customer service by email and telephone
  • Compile offers (including technical verifications with customers and fabrication sites)
  • Calculate prices
  • Customer administration
  • Customer support from offer to delivery
  • Collaboration with external sales engineers

Main contacts: Office Manager, Customer Service / Internal Sales Team and the sales engineers

Location: within one of our Sales Areas in Europe (offices in Switzerland [Flamatt], Germany [Aachen], Austria [Steyr], UK [Coventry], France [Paris], Denmark [Copenhagen]

Month 7-12

Sales training and induction programme that includes an in-depth insight into a different production site: 

  • Accompany and support our sales engineers to discover their world and learn from them
  • Support Sales Area Manager with current tasks and projects

Main contacts: Sales Area Manager, Customer Service / Internal Sales team and the sales engineers

Location: within one of our Sales Areas in Europe (offices in Switzerland [Flamatt], Germany [Aachen], Austria [Steyr], UK [Coventry], France [Paris], Denmark [Copenhagen]

Month 13-18

Induction programme that includes marketing and communication training:

  • Support the MarCom team with current projects and daily business to obtain a solid understanding of marketing and communication, and how these fields tie in with sales

Location: at our head office in Switzerland [Flamatt].

Your profile (depending on national education system):

  • Economic Degree, or
  • Technical Degree, or
  • Completed Commercial Apprenticeship with work experience (2-5 years).
