VETROFLAM

Special coating for radiant heat reduction

VETROFLAM is a clear, fire-rated safety glass that reduces radiant heat transmission during a fire. It is suitable for use in large surface areas for both interior and exterior applications. Due to its innovative coating, VETROFLAM provides radiation control of < 15 kW/m2 at a distance of one meter from the glass. This means that flammable materials on the non-fire side of the glazing are protected from combustion for a significantly longer period of time.

Performances

VETROFLAM forms an effective barrier against smoke, flames, and toxic gases for up to 60 minutes while reducing radiant heat transmission. During a fire, the glass remains transparent and completely intact. This creates safe passages through which people can escape and gives rescue workers visibility into potential dangers so they can quickly reach the heart of the fire.
