High-security door regulations
As with all safety systems, glazed security doors, including double glazed security doors, are certified for performance through classification reports published by reputable laboratories.
The level of protection offered by high security glass doors, blast proof doors, and high security sliding glass doors is validated by test certificates from accredited testing laboratories. These certifications follow European standards such as EN 1522+1523 for bullet resistance, EN 1627–1630 for forced entry, and EN 13123-2 and ISO 16933 for explosive resistance.
