On 20 March 2019, Vetrotech Saint-Gobain inaugurated the start-up of a new “state-of-the art” combination IGU (Insulated Glass Unit) and TPA (Thermal Plastic Application) production line in its facility located in Namysłów, Poland. The site is entirely dedicated to the manufacture of Contraflam fire resistant glass, where this investment is expected to increase flexibility and raise output by up to 20%.

Vetrotech announces the take-over of operations of the Contraflam production line located in Coventry, which was formerly operated by Saint-Gobain Glassolutions. With its integration within Vetrotech, the specialised “Business Unit” dedicated to fire resistant and high-security glass products in Saint-Gobain, the company unites its UK sales organisation and production under its direct management.
