Vetrotech, as one of the companies of the Saint-Gobain Group, supplied its products to the expanded Copernicus Science Center in Warsaw Poland.

The new building, namely the Copernican Revolution Lab joined the building complex in 2022. It is an interdisciplinary research laboratory, a creative space, a place of cooperation, meetings, and debates.

The construction of the project began in August 2020. The large part of internal partitions is made of fire resistive EI30 glass: CONTRAFLAM STRUCTURE ELEGANCE.

The designer of the facility - Heinle, Wischer und Partner Architects, made a thorough analysis of the possibilities of glazing fire resistive partitions and chose the flush butt-joint glazing solution without vertical frame profiles  CONTRAFLAM STRUCTURE ELEGANCE.

A very narrow seamless connection ensures maximum access of daylight to the rooms. This solution provides an uncompromised fire resistance for up to 30 minutes.

This achievement reflects Vetrotech Saint-Gobain's true expertise in providing the highest levels of fire protection glazing solutions, without compromising the design and comfort of building users.
