Education
Designed by the renowned architect Bernard Tschumi, the new complex of the elite boarding school “Le Rosey” in Rolle, Switzerland, houses a range of first-class facilities, including a Learning Centre, classrooms, drama and dance venues, and extensive music equipment.

For this challenging project, the well-known Swiss facade builder Felix Constructions S.A. installed over 470 m2 of fire-resistant glass including partitions, fire doors, staircases and meeting rooms.

In order to meet fire regulations, his solutions consist of Contraflam 30 built into the Thermfix Vario frame systems by Forster. Contraflam not only offers supremely reliable fire resistance; it is also 100% UV stable and, therefore, offers a long lasting maximum transparency to keep rooms and facades bright.

Glass sizes up to 1'800 x 3'800mm, show the capabilities of Vetrotech to provide large custom-made glass solutions able to stand up to the demands of such iconic projects. Vetrotech's glazing solutions enable boundless design freedom for architects and constructors while offering uncompromised safety to the building's occupants at the same time.
