Bullet resistance (EN 1063)
The testing in accordance with the standard EN1063 consists of a controlled, accurate shooting of three glass panes with three consecutive bullets shot in a 120mm triangle – with the exception of classification SG1. Normal glass impacted by such a force breaks easily into pieces and opens the surface for consecutive shots – don’t take this risk. Precise testing of bullet-resistant glass ensures the reliable protection of the secured side by preventing ammunition from entering.

Vetrogard Bullet
Vetrogard Bullet – a laminated bullet-resistant glass solution – consist of a multi-layer lamination of various interlayer films and glass panes resisting different classes of handgun, rifle, shot-gun and AK-47 assault rifle munitions.

Polygard Bullet
Polygard Bullet – a laminated non-splinter bullet-resistant glass solution – offers in comparison to Vetrogard Bullet a significantly lighter and thinner option by using polycarbonate (PC) within the laminated high-security glass composition. Its efficiently keeps ammunition from passing while absorbing the entire force without splintering on the safe side.
