Vetrotech Saint-Gobain acquires the fully-glazed fire-door company Lunax

In 2018 Vetrotech Saint-Gobain acquired LUNAX bvba, a Belgian company specialising in frameless fully-glazed fire-doors. With the addition of these niche solutions, Vetrotech Saint-Gobain enhances its range of systems to respond to the growing architectural trend of building transparency combined with design and safety solutions.

The LUNAX door exclusively uses Vetrotech’s versatile and multifunctional CONTRAFLAM fire resistant safety glass. Since its introduction in 2012, a number of projects have been completed throughout Europe and beyond by a growing network of authorised installers. In line with the Saint-Gobain strategy, this acquisition will allow Vetrotech Saint-Gobain to develop its portfolio of innovative systems and expand into new segments and territories. Vetrotech Saint-Gobain looks forward to expanding the network of authorised installers and partners across Europe, and the world, as they widen the range of LUNAX solutions and add greater functionality.
