DESIGN FREEDOM
SGG STRUCTURE is a system (class B15 up to A60) that consists of two or more panels up to more than three metres high, joined together by a very narrow and inconspicuous putty seam, thus minimising the profile and maximising transparency. Each panel comprises a number of layers of glass, in each case with a polymer interlayer that transforms into a foam shield to protect against the heat generated by a fire. The layers and seals together form a barrier against smoke, flames and toxic gases, which creates the vital extra time for passengers and crew to reach safety. SGG STRUCTURE is ideal for continuous, floor-to-ceiling transparent indoor facades or partition walls, with or without fire doors.

ClearView
SGG PYROSWISS® ClearView is fire resistant of course, but most of all it’s crystal clear, and specially developed for use in wheel houses. Here it gives an alert crew a steady view of the surroundings. ClearView means: see and be seen better. The result is a feeling of security for everyone in the wheel house. Even, if there’s little to see.

FULL GLASS DOOR
A fire-resistant full glass door made of SGG PYROSWISS® EXTRA MARINE 8 mm clear safety glass. This product meets the standards for B0 and A0.

EXPLOSION SAFETY
SGG CONTRAFLAM® X-PLOSAFE is a high-quality blast-proof glass that meets the highest requirements for explosion safety. (Compare SGG CONTRAFLAM® and SGG PYROSWISS®, which meet ER3 and ER4 classes). SGG CONTRAFLAM® X-PLOSAFE is especially designed to offer sufficient safety in the event of accidents or terrorist attacks on e.g. ships, oil platforms and LNG sites.
