All Non American flag ships require A60 in the embarkation areas

American flag ships require A60 glass with a hose stream test in embarkation areas (area where people board a life saving vessel on a ship). Also all the windows where the life saving vessels have to pass to be lowered in the sea.

• A0 when a sprinkler system is added, to cool a fire = insulation. No A60 needed;
• B15 inside the ships;
• A30 sometimes inside ships;
• H60, H90 or H120 when a blast is expected, required on Oil Rigs, LNG rigs and LNG carriers.
