SGG SWISSFLAM is a multi-laminated fire resisting and fully insulating glass produced from sheets of laminated safety glass separated by clear, colourless intumescent interlayers.
The number of sheets of float glass and interlayers depends upon the level of fire resistance required.
- Can be easily combined with design and functional glasses
- Can be double glazed for UV, sound and thermal protection
- UV stable from both sides
- Up to 60 minutes fire resistance plus protection from insulated heat
- Available in pane sizes up to 2200 x 3500mm
- Ideal for emergency exits and escape route
SGG Swissflam protects against fire, smoke and toxic gases and forms a protective heat barrier in the event of a fire.
Fire protection properties – classification EI30 – EI60, Tested according to EN 1363 and EN 1364
Symmetrical fire protection. Forms an opaque protective layer in the event of a fire. |

SGG SWISSFLAM can be used as single glazing for internal areas, doors, screens and partitions of timber or steel construction in either vertical, sloped or horizontal applications.

SGG SWISSFLAM can be used in various frames and profile systems including steel, aluminium and hardwood.

The installation of SWISSFLAM takes place according to current fire testing and may only be carried out by an approved installer.

The normal construction of SGG SWISSFLAM consists of layers of laminated glass. It can also be constructed with SGG STADIP PROTECT for higher safety requirements.
With the use of SGG STADIP SILENCE as part of the make-up or as a double glazed unit, a high sound reduction can be achieved, which ensures excellent user comfort.
