CONTRAFLAM STRUCTURE is a new glass product ideally suited for realising frameless fire protection flush glazing solutions for interiors..

The sheets are constructed using two or more thermally pre-stressed single-sheet layers of safety glass with intumescent interlayers, which expand in the event of fire and have insulating properties.

Based on nanotechnology, the fire-retardant interlayer is UV-resistant, and outstanding for its exceptionally high light transmission.

Frameless glazing in the vertical plane, using this fire safety glazing in combination with silicone joints, creates new possibilities in design, allowing architectural solutions to be realised that go far beyond the solutions known today.
