E = Integrity

The ability of a construction element with building compartment function to resist fire impact from one side only. It prevents the spreading of flames or considerable quantities of combustible gases which could cause ignition of the unexposed face or of adjoining materials.

Products meeting these requirements:
SGG PYROSWISS, SGG PYROSWISS EXTRA, SGG VETROFLAM

EW= Integrity & Radiation Control

The ability of a construction element with building compartment function to resist fire impact from one side only in a manner that the radiant heat transfer measured on the unexposed face remains below a certain limit value for a certain period of time.

Products meeting these requirements:
SGG VETROFLAM, SGG SWISSFLAM Lite, SGG CONTRAFLAM Lite

EI = Integrity & Isolation

The ability of a construction element with building compartment function to resist fire impact from one side only and to prevent the spreading of the fire due to considerable conducted heat transfer from the exposed to the unexposed face, which could cause ignition of the unexposed face or of materials adjoining to it, as well as the ability to provide a sufficiently strong heat barrier for persons near the construction element for the given classification period.

Products meeting these requirements:
SGG SWISSFLAM, SGG CONTRAFLAM, SGG CONTRAFLAM STRUCTURE
